Jordan Chamberlin currently serves as a Senior Economist and Spatial Economist at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), a position held since August 2015. Previous experience includes working as an Economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) from June 2021 to July 2022, and as an Assistant Professor of International Development at Michigan State University from May 2013 to July 2015. Additionally, Jordan served as a Research Fellow and Capacity Building Coordinator at the Indaba Agricultural Policy Research Institute (IAPRI) from July 2013 to June 2015, and held various roles including Scientist and GIS Specialist at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) from September 2001 to May 2008. Early career experience includes serving as an Academic Coordinator at SUNY Plattsburgh. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University (2008-2013) and a Master of Arts (MA) in Geography from Arizona State University (1998-1999), along with participation in the Spatial Econometrics Advanced Institute in 2010.
