Phillip Ransey, PHM, MPA

Phillip Ransey, PHM, MPA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Starting in 1994, they worked as an Investigative & Ongoing Caseworker at Lucas County Children Services Board for almost a decade. In 1993, they became a Transitional Housing Supervisor at St. Paul's Community Center, a position they held for 14 years. From 2007 to 2009, Phillip worked as an Educator at the Academy of Business and Technology. Following that, they served as a Reentry Coordinator at the Economic Opportunity Planning Association of Greater Toledo from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they transitioned to the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority as an Asset Property Manager, a role they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2021, Phillip worked as an Asset Manager at the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority. This was followed by a role as Director of Housing at Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Housing Choice Voucher Program Manager at the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority.

Phillip Ransey, PHM, MPA obtained their Master's degree in Public Administration from Texas Southern University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Public Administration at Bowling Green State University. Phillip's educational journey began with a diploma in College Prep from Libbey High School.
