Aastha Sood

Aastha Sood, CDR, serves as the Lead of Career Services and Industry Partnerships at CIOT Calgary since January 2024, along with a role as Practicum and Employment Specialist for Portage College's Teacher's Assistant and Administrative Professional Programs. Aastha previously held the position of Head of Sales and Education at Orane International from May 2022 to January 2024, overseeing Canadian operations for the college. Prior experience includes Information Technology Recruiter at Altis Recruitment, Talent Associate at Centennial College, and Administrative Staffing Support at Robert Half. Aastha began a career in retail with Swarovski, progressing from Sales Associate to Keyholder/Sr. Sales Consultant. Aastha is an alumnus of Centennial College, having earned a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Leadership and Management, and also holds a certificate in Italian Language and Literature from Centro Studi Italiani in Italy.
