Brannen Sorem

Brannen Sorem has held a variety of software development roles since 2012. In that time, they have worked for Aviso Inc, SugarCRM, Welkin Health, Tom Steyer 2020, Supply Caravan, their own company, Bran Sorem, Tesla, and most recently, CipherTrace, a Mastercard company. At SugarCRM, they served as a Senior Web Developer and Lead Web Developer, developing a custom CMS and form testing framework, respectively. At Tom Steyer 2020, they were a Senior Full Stack Engineer and Frontend Web Developer, developing a custom user-profile application. At Supply Caravan, they were a Senior Software Engineer. At their own company, Bran Sorem, they worked as a Software Development Contractor. At Tesla, they were a Drupal Developer. At Welkin Health, they were a Marketing Consultant, responsible for website development and maintenance, SEO, CRO, and Analytics. At Aviso Inc, they were a Software Development Contractor. At Message Winston, they were a Software Development Contractor, developing a custom serverless CRM. Brannen is currently a Senior Software Engineer and Front-End Engineer at CipherTrace, a Mastercard company.

Brannen Sorem began their educational journey in 2004 at Foothill College, where they earned an A.A. and A.S. in Internet Technology and Music Technology. Brannen then attended College of the Redwoods from 2008 to 2010, completing general education courses. From 2010 to 2011, they attended Humboldt State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Finally, from 2014 to 2018, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
