Ruby Flynn

Ruby Flynn has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ruby started their career at ilovetravel as a Trip Leader and worked their way up to become a Program Director, organizing and overseeing safe and memorable trips for high school and university students.

Ruby then moved on to Westcoast Connection as a Logistics Coordinator, where they gained expertise in managing flight tracking, guest lists, rooming issues, and damage claims. Ruby developed strong problem-solving skills and became familiar with client needs through phone and email communication.

Ruby joined Airbnb and took on multiple roles during their tenure. As an Appeals Ambassador, they reviewed reports and applied legal policies to determine the reinstatement of guests and hosts. Additionally, they trained and onboarded new hires. Later, as a Luxury Trip Designer, Ruby focused on Asia regions, excelling in sales, luxury trip planning, and client relations. Ruby established strong connections with repeat guests, homeowners, and property management companies within Airbnb's network. Ruby also worked as a Client Relations Specialist, addressing high-level concerns and collaborating with internal teams.

In their current role as a Technical Recruiter at Circle Medical, a telemedicine company affiliated with UCSF Health, Ruby leads the technical recruiting efforts. Circle Medical aims to create accessible and high-quality primary care worldwide through technology.

Throughout their work experience, Ruby has demonstrated strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Ruby Flynn earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and Communications from Concordia University, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Creative Writing from Capilano University, where they attended from 2010 to 2012.
