Tanaka Madzika

Tanaka Madzika's work experience begins in 2014, where they worked as a Student Trainee at Vatel Business School - Hotel & Tourism Management. In 2015, they had two roles at Alila Hotels, namely F&B Event Manager Trainee and Front Office Assistant. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Catering Supervisor at MyPond Hotel Stenden. In 2018, they became a Restaurant Manager at Constellation Culinary Group until 2020. In 2022, they took on the position of Assistant General Manager & Catering Coordinator at Constellation Culinary Group until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Patient Care Advocate at Circle Medical - a UCSF Health Affiliate.

Tanaka Madzika completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Hospitality Management at NHL Stenden from 2014 to 2019. After that, from 2020 to 2022, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Schellhammer Business School. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications in "Preventing Discrimination & Harassment: Restaurant Managers NY Edition" from Traliant in August 2019 and "Be Wise, Exploring Social Enterprise in Leeuwarden" from the European Center for Evidence Based Mentoring in January 2017.
