Syam Nair

Syam Nair has a strong background in engineering, product development, and technology leadership. Syam is currently the Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Circles.Life, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product & Technology at Vista Consulting Group from January 2020 to May 2022. From February 2017 to December 2019, they worked at Finastra as the Development Center Head & Director of Software Engineering, leading the development of digital banking products and platforms. Syam also held the position of Senior Manager at EY's IT Advisory, Financial Services division from February 2013 to January 2017. Syam has a strong foundation in project management and software engineering, having worked at Infosys and ANZ in various roles from 2002 to 2013. Syam started their career at Cognizant Technology Solutions as a Programmer Analyst in the financial services sector from February 2000 to June 2002.

Syam Nair earned a B Tech degree in Mechanical Automobile Engineering from the University of Kerala, completing their studies from 1995 to 1999. Syam later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the same university, graduating between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, Syam has obtained certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Cobit Foundation, ITIL Foundation, SAFe 4 Agilist, Safe 4 Product Owner/Product Manager, and Togaf 9.
