Chris Ward

Chris Ward has extensive work experience in various roles related to delivery and implementation of digital banking services. Chris worked at CES (Container Exchange Services) as a Delivery/Implementation Lead starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the Head of Delivery at 86 400, one of Australia's leading digital native banks, where they managed the delivery portfolio across multiple departments. Chris also worked at Commonwealth Bank in multiple roles, including Delivery Lead for Open Banking and Senior Project Manager in the areas of advanced analytics and digital home buying. At Commonwealth Bank, they also worked in Commercial Management and as a BA Team Lead in the infrastructure portfolio. Chris began their career as a Delivery Consultant at TCS Financial Solutions, working on core banking implementation projects. Chris also served as a Senior Market Analyst at IDC Asia Pacific and as a Web & Systems Support for Financial Network Services Pty Ltd.

Chris Ward attended the University of Sydney from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Finance. Before university, Chris attended St Joseph's College Hunters Hill. In addition, they have obtained certifications including the Agile Certified Product Manager and Product Owner Credential (ACPM) from Agile Australia and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
