Ed Chan

Ed Chan is a seasoned engineering executive with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering for Platform & Infrastructure at Cisco since May 2021, Chan focuses on building the platform and infrastructure for Cisco Security Cloud. Prior to this role, Chan held the position of VP of Engineering at Labelbox, leading the development of AI/ML training data platforms, and served as Director of Engineering at Box, managing storage and data services on an exabyte scale. Additional experience includes roles at Twilio Inc., Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, Andromedia, and EPSON, where Chan contributed to significant advancements in voice network, video streaming technologies, and cloud infrastructure. Ed Chan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
