Victor Negrete

Victor Negrete has a diverse work experience spanning from 1998 to the present. Victor started their career as a Software Consultant at MFR, PC where they provided developer consultant services for external companies. Victor then worked at Enron Corp as an IT Specialist and was responsible for supporting and enhancing a Java application for real-time pipeline information.

After that, Victor joined Northern Natural Gas Co as a Sr. IT Specialist where they designed and developed the Marketing Intranet Portal and implemented the re-design of the NNG website. Victor then moved to Southern Union Co as a Software Architect where they led the conversion of web reports and implemented new business rules for the MPlus application.

Next, Victor joined QSI | NextGen Healthcare as a Search Team Lead and worked on designing and implementing enterprise search services in the healthcare domain. At TrendKite, they worked as a Full Stack Engineer where they supported and enhanced the PR web application and developed Trendkite's media contacts micro-service and admin tool.

Currently, Victor is working at Cision as a Staff Engineer where they have been responsible for developing new features for the enterprise digital PR web application and the ingestion/enrichment backend process for news and social feeds. Victor has also designed and implemented Restful APIs and microservices to integrate Cision's contact media and social media databases.

Victor Negrete has an M.S in Computer Science from the University of Houston. Victor also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybernetics and Computer Science from Universidad La Salle, A.C.
