Jean-Luc Desire is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. Currently serving as CEO of Haldex since June 2021, Jean-Luc oversees a €600M global company specializing in braking solutions, achieving record sales and EBIT results through strategic operating systems and pricing power enhancements. Prior to Haldex, Jean-Luc held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Tenneco, where significant EBIT improvements were realized through cost transformation initiatives. At WABCO, Jean-Luc led substantial revenue and EBIT growth as a business leader in the CAR systems division. Over the years, Jean-Luc has also held various roles in Peugeot and PSA Peugeot Citroën, focusing on strategic studies, project management, and quality improvements. With an educational background including an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec, Jean-Luc combines technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities.
