Clive Boorman FLPI has a vast work experience spanning over several companies. Clive began their career at Norwich Union as a trainer and stayed there until 1992. Clive then joined West Bromwich Building Society as the Contact Centre Training and Recruitment Manager, where they oversaw staff development and received an award for Induction. In 2004, they moved to Training For All Foundation as the Training Services Manager, providing support, education, and training to managers in the charity and voluntary sector. Clive then joined RWE npower in 2005, where they held various roles, including Training & Recruitment Manager, People Development Manager, and Mindfulness Advocate. Their responsibilities included delivering digital learning solutions, coaching, and introducing mindfulness techniques. Currently, Clive works at Citizens Advice as the National Learning Lead, although specific details about their role are not provided.
Clive Boorman FLPI attended The Old Vic Wolverhampton from 1982 to 1983, where they studied Computer Studies. Prior to that, from 1977 to 1982, they attended Moseley Park School, focusing on Business, Computer Studies, and Accounting. Clive has also obtained various certifications, including being a Fellow of the Learning and Performance Institute (obtained in August 2019) and certifications in coaching, L&D evaluation, and financial planning.
