Citizens Health is looking for Director of Rehabilitation.  The Director of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for the operation of the Rehabilitation Department.  The Director assures the quality of patient care services provided by Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy.  The Director acts as a liaison with other departments and Administration.  The Director provides leadership for the staff and is responsible for the financial planning and operation of the department.  The Director will be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, speech therapy or occupational therapy and eligible for licensure within the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.

The Director of Rehabilitation will report to the Ancillary Services Manager .

Location: 100 E College Ave, Colby, Ks

Days: Monday-Friday 

Hours: 8am to 5pm

What you’ll do:

  • Direct the overall operation of the Rehabilitation Department.

  • Assure the continued growth of the Department.

  • Assure implementation of applicable hospital and corporate policies and procedures.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Masters Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy.

  • Current license, certification or registration in the State of Kansas.

  • Registered with the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts.

  • Great interpersonal skills need to function in a team setting.

  • Organizational ability to plan and supervise activities of the Rehabilitation Department staff.

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient documentation skills.

  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care.
