Ryan Devaney

Ryan Devaney is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as a Police Officer with the City of Amesbury since February 2021 and as a Signal Support System Specialist with the Army National Guard since March 2019. Prior to these roles, Ryan served as a Reserve Police Officer with the Essex Police Department from June 2017 to June 2022 and held the position of Police Sergeant at North Shore Community College from May 2017 to March 2021. Ryan began a career in security as a Security Officer at North Shore Medical Center from March 2014 to May 2017. Academically, Ryan holds a Master's degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from UMass Boston, and an Associate’s Degree in Criminology from North Shore Community College.
