Jennifer Lawson

Jennifer Lawson is an accomplished Water Resources Manager for the City of Ann Arbor since February 2011, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and ecological health. Concurrently, Jennifer serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan since January 2019 and previously held the same position at Lawrence Technological University from 2010 to 2014. Jennifer's prior experience includes working as an Environmental Specialist for the City of Troy's Engineering Department, where responsibilities involved public education outreach and environmental planning. Earlier roles include an Environmental Analyst at Hubbell, Roth and Clark, Inc., focusing on watershed management and stormwater program implementation, and an internship at Beckler-Scramstad, Inc., conducting environmental assessments. Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies/Resource Development from Michigan State University.
