Lisa C. Smith

Lisa C. Smith is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in contract negotiation, legal counsel, and prosecution. Currently serving as Contracts Section Chief for the City/Parish of Baton Rouge since March 2016, responsibilities include drafting and reviewing agreements and providing legal advice to stakeholders. Prior roles include Assistant Parish Attorney at L.C. Smith, LLC, managing insurance defense and personal injury cases, and serving as Assistant City Prosecutor, where Lisa led prosecutions in domestic violence and misdemeanor cases. With a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver and a summa cum laude bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Arizona, Lisa combines legal expertise with a strong background in marketing and public relations from previous positions in various organizations.
