Alexis Morris

Alexis Morris has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of community development and planning. Alexis is currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Brentwood, CA since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Planning Manager for the City of Antioch from July 2016 to May 2021, and as an Associate/Senior Planner from August 2014 to August 2016. Before that, they held the position of Senior Environmental Planner at HNTB from March 2012 to August 2014. Alexis also worked as a Project Manager at Circlepoint from August 2010 to July 2011. Alexis started their career at the City of Antioch, where they served as a Senior Planner from 2001 to 2010. Additionally, they briefly worked as an Administrative Analyst III at the City of Pittsburg Redevelopment Agency in 2005.

Alexis Morris has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside. Alexis also holds a Masters of Science degree in Community Development from the University of California, Davis.
