Jarrod Coleman

Jarrod Coleman currently serves as a Senior Planner for the City of Carson, California, starting in July 2023. Previously held planning positions include Assistant Planner for the City of Costa Mesa and Associate Planner roles in the Cities of Cudahy, Ojai, West Hollywood, and Riverside. Notably, Jarrod Coleman contributed to the development and passage of the new Inclusionary Housing Ordinance for Cudahy. In addition to planning experience, Jarrod Coleman has a background in photography, operating Straight 2 Black Photography since September 2011, and briefly served as Creative Director for California Motors Direct. Jarrod Coleman's educational credentials include a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia and dual degrees in International Relations and Politics, and Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
