Carol Robinson, MBA, PMP, currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer and Procurement Administrator for the City of Chesapeake, overseeing procurement operations and managing contracts for various departments. Previously, Carol held key roles in Norfolk Public Schools, including Project Manager for new school construction, Senior Director of Purchases & Supply, and Senior Buyer. Carol's extensive procurement experience also includes positions at Smithfield Packing, The New York Times, and BORON LEPORE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER, where strategic sourcing and vendor relationships were developed. A skilled project manager, Carol has consistently achieved project objectives on time and within budget, leveraging a strong educational background in business administration and project management.
