Steve Webb

Steve Webb has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Steve started their career as a Dietary Aide and then became a Laborer at Franciscan Health from 1998 to 2004. Later, they worked at Menards, starting as a Management Trainee and progressing to Assistant Department Manager, Department Manager, and finally Assistant General Manager from 2005 to 2010.

After that, Steve joined the State of Indiana and held various roles such as Strategic Sourcing Analyst, Strategic Sourcing Lead, Procurement Analyst, Financial Specialist, and Senior Financial Analyst. Steve worked there from 2010 to 2017.

From 2017 to 2019, Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Indianapolis. Following that, they worked as a Controller for the State of Indiana from 2019 to 2020.

In 2020, Steve joined the Northern Kentucky Area Development District as a Finance Director, and later also took on the role of Director of Administration until 2022.

Currently, Steve is the Finance Director for the City of Covington, Kentucky.

Steve Webb attended Beech Grove Sr High School from 1996 to 2000 and obtained their High School Diploma. Steve then went on to Purdue University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management. During their time at Purdue, they also attended the Daniels School of Business and obtained another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management in 2004.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Steve Webb holds several certifications. In August 2022, they became a member of various organizations such as the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), AGA, Kentucky GFOA, NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement, GOVERNMENT INVESTMENT OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, and KENTUCKY OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE ASSOCIATION INC. Steve also became a member of the Council of Development Finance Agencies and the Covington Business Council in September 2020.
