Richard Ritz

Richard Ritz is a Senior Landscape Architect and Project Manager with extensive experience in managing and overseeing capital improvement projects for the City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department since 2003. Responsibilities include handling diverse projects, ranging from simple neighborhood entry gates to complex urban parks like Main Street Garden. Prior experience encompasses roles as Senior Landscape Architect with the Texas Chapter of ASLA and serving as Past Chair of the DFW Section. Richard Ritz also contributed to the Boy Scouts of America Troop 890 from 2001 to 2010 and operated Ritz/Associates Landscape Architects from 2001 to 2003 as Principal and Sole Proprietor. Earlier experience includes a position as a Landscape Architect at HOK from 1984 to 1986. Richard Ritz holds degrees from Texas A&M University and Texas State University.
