Calvin Manuel

Calvin Manuel is an experienced professional in community development and urban policy, currently serving as the Community Development Director for the City of Gainesville, Texas, since April 2019. Previously, Calvin held various positions including Deputy Development Services Director and Interim Development Services Director for the City of Pilot Point from December 2014 to April 2019. Additional roles include Assistant to the City Manager and Administrative Intern. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Research Assistantship at the University of North Texas and a Marketing & Development Associate position at The BrownStone Project, LLC. Calvin holds a Master of Public Administration degree focused on City Government and Urban Policy from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Kennesaw State University.
