Kyla Stefans

Kyla Stefans is currently a Public Services Assistant at the City of Grand Rapids. Kyla has previously worked as a Server/Bartender at City Built Brewing Company from April 2017 to March 2022 and as a Sales Manager at ACCESS Destination Services from January 2015 to December 2017.

At ACCESS Destination Services, Kyla was promoted from Sales Coordinator and was responsible for independently managing programs from prospecting and contract negotiation to onsite event operation and final invoicing. Kyla also operated programs onsite, oversaw multiple vendors, facilitated deliveries, and supported clients onsite. Kyla was successful in establishing key relationships with hotel partnerships and collaborating with sales team, resulting in $19,700 of personal sales/month (2017), increased from $13,900/month in 2016; an increase of 186% from 2015 to 2017. For each client, Kyla created customized proposals based on program requirements, budget, and client specifications. Kyla tracked all clients and programs in Salesforce CRM database and maintained detailed records for each program.

Kyla Stefans has a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University. Kyla also has a minor in business from Grand Valley State University. Kyla Stefans has a high school diploma from Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Kyla Stefans has certification from Tips Alcohol in TIPS Certification and from the Illinois Liquor Control Commission in BASSET.
