Mark Garvey

Engineering Assistant II at City of Grand Rapids

Mark Garvey is currently an Engineering Assistant II at the City of Grand Rapids. Previously, they worked as a draftsperson and field surveyor at Reynolds Land Surveying from April 1990 to September 1998. There, they served residents of seven neighboring counties with land development, creating plat maps, ALTA surveys, site plans and topographic surveys, as well as running field crews. Prior to that, Garvey worked as a design artist at Patten Monument from September 1988 to April 1990, where they designed and laid out iconic stencils to memorialize individuals' lives.

Mark Garvey's educational career includes earning an Associate of Science in Drafting and Design Technology/Technician from Kellogg Community College.
