Mike Oosterbaan

Mike Oosterbaan is the current Assistant Employee Benefits Manager at the City of Grand Rapids. Prior to their current position, Mike was the Campus Services Manager at Cornerstone University from August 2006 to March 2013. In their role as Campus Services Manager, Mike was responsible for a variety of tasks related to the upkeep and operation of the university campus. This included hiring and training student workers, managing workers on a daily basis, ordering and distributing supplies, and coordinating events. Mike is highly skilled in communication and collaboration, which has helped him excel in their various roles over the years.

Mike Oosterbaan has a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education, Speech from Cornerstone University. Mike also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business / Globalization from Cornerstone University. Prior to their MBA, they completed internships at Forest Hills Central High School, Allendale Public School, and Byron Center Charter School.

Their manager is Joo Kim, Employee Benefits Manager. Mike Oosterbaan works with Jessica Welch - Benefits Wellness Coordinator, Lisa Rule - Employee Benefits Assistant, and Emilie Zuzek - Personnel Records Assistant.
