Jackson Pruett

Jackson Pruett has extensive experience in economic development, currently serving as the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Hoover since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jackson held positions at 58 INC | Shelby County EDC, including Director of Corporate Growth and Senior Project Manager, where responsibilities included managing corporate recruitment initiatives and spearheading industrial site preparation efforts. Before that, Jackson served as Vice President of Business Development & Support at The Shelby County Chamber, where outreach to over 200 companies identified strategic opportunities. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Manager for the Shelby County Economic and Industrial Development Authority, focusing on project management for new and expanding companies. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Auburn University, earned in 2015.
