Steve Willis

Steve Willis, IPMA-SCP, currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Johnson City since April 2023. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions, including Human Resources Manager at Microporous, LLC from September 2021 to April 2023 and Director of Human Resources at the City of Johnson City from June 2015 to September 2021. Steve's extensive experience in human resources also includes roles as Vice President of Client Services at SESCO Management Consultants and Human Resources Manager at Microporous, LLC, where Steve managed HR functions for facilities in Tennessee and Austria. Steve's career began as a Human Resource Manager at Superior Industries from 1992 to 1996. Steve earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from East Tennessee State University in 1992.
