Anthony Muai, AICP has a diverse work experience in the field of community planning. Anthony is currently serving as the Community Planning Director for the City of Kennewick. Prior to this, they held the positions of Interim Community Planning Director, Planning Manager, Senior Planner, Planner, and Assistant Planner in the same organization.

Before joining the City of Kennewick, Anthony worked as a Teacher Assistant and Intern at the University of Washington Tacoma, where they gained experience in data analysis and geographical information systems (GIS) for recruitment efforts.

Additionally, they served as a Planning Intern at the City of DuPont, further enhancing their knowledge in the field of urban planning.

Anthony Muai, AICP, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Urban Studies from the University of Washington Tacoma, which they earned from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in General Studies from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom, where they studied from 2002 to 2005. Anthony completed their high school education at Franklin Pierce High School and obtained their High School Diploma between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, they received a certification as an AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) Certified professional in January 2014.
