Ronny Beasley has extensive work experience in the field of fire and emergency management. Ronny served as the Chief for the City of La Vergne since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in the Managing Officer Program for the National Fire Academy starting in 2018. From 1995 to 2022, Ronny held the position of Task Force Leader for Tennessee Task Force One (TNTF-1) / DHS / FEMA Urban Search and Rescue. Ronny also served as a Division Chief for the City Of Memphis Fire Dept from 1992 to 2020.
Ronny Beasley received their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a concentration in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from Columbia Southern University. Ronny pursued this degree from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, they attended the National Fire Academy from 2016 to 2019, completing a program in Executive Fire Officer. In September 2018, Ronny Beasley obtained certification as a Chief Fire Officer from the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
