Paolo Beltran

Paolo Beltran currently serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Lakewood, CA, a position held since March 2004, and has previously held roles including Assistant to the City Manager and Senior Management Analyst. Between August 2015 and August 2017, Paolo was an active member of the ICMA Strategic Planning Task Force and the ICMA Knowledge Network Advisory Board. Prior to public service, Paolo worked as a Nuclear Biochemist III at Eckert & Ziegler AG from June 1998 to January 2003. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University, Long Beach, earned between 2004 and 2005, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from UCLA, completed in 1998.
