Colleen Dunlap has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Colleen began their career as a Sales Associate at Hallmark Cards from 2011 to 2014, followed by roles as a Sales Associate at Tazzie Baby and Child in 2014 and Eddie Bauer in 2015. In 2015, they also worked as a Women's Advocate at Safe Haven Shelter and Resource Center.

From 2012 to 2015, Colleen was a Student at The College of St. Scholastica, where they majored in Psychology and minored in Marketing. Colleen was actively involved in several student organizations, including the Queer-Straight Alliance and Sisterhood at CSS, and was a former columnist for the school newspaper, The Cable.

In 2016, Colleen joined Austin Zoo and Animal Sanctuary as a Gift Shop Buyer/Donation Fulfillment employee. Colleen worked there until 2018.

From 2018 to 2020, Colleen worked at Texas State University as a Graduate Research Assistant, supporting faculty in research projects and conducting qualitative and quantitative research. Colleen also served as a Career Counselor Graduate Intern during this time.

Colleen then transitioned to PAWS Shelter of Central Texas in 2019, where they held roles as a Pet Adoption Counselor/Employee Support Specialist until 2021 and as an Offsite Supervisor from 2020 to 2021.

Following their time at PAWS Shelter, Colleen joined Ambassador Labs in 2020 as a Sourcer & Recruitment Coordinator, responsible for sourcing and recruiting candidates. Colleen later became a People Experience Associate and then a People Generalist, managing various HR responsibilities such as recruitment, onboarding, benefit enrollment, and employee engagement.

Most recently, Colleen joined the City of Minneapolis in 2022, working as an HR Associate and later transitioning to the role of HR Staffing Specialist. The end dates for their roles at the city are unknown.

Throughout their work experience, Colleen has gained extensive knowledge and experience in HR, recruitment, employee support, research, and client services.

Colleen Dunlap pursued their education chronologically, starting from their enrollment in Normandale Community College in 2011 to the College of Saint Scholastica from 2012 to 2016. During their time at the College of Saint Scholastica, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Colleen furthered their education at Texas State University from 2017 to 2020, where they earned their Master's degree in Professional Counseling.
