Montana James

Montana James, MPA, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Community Development for the City of Missoula, leading the Community Development Division and building strategic partnerships to achieve community goals. Previous roles include Community Development Manager, Grants Administrator III, and positions at the Community Foundation of Snohomish County, Center for Evaluation and Research for STEM Equity, and The CAIR Project, among others. Montana's experience encompasses program management, research, and stakeholder engagement, supported by a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Montana.
