Jillian Somers

Jillian Somers has extensive work experience in the tourism and events industry. Jillian is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Destination Moncton Dieppe since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jillian held various positions at the City of Moncton / Ville de Moncton, including Director of Events and Tourism, Manager of Marketing and Event Development, Coordinator of Tourism and Events Marketing, and Communications Officer. Jillian held these roles from 2004 until their appointment at Destination Moncton Dieppe.

Jillian Somers completed their Master of Organizational Management degree from Crandall University in the year 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a Certificate in Marketing from Mount Saint Vincent University, graduating in 2004. Jillian'ssecondary education was completed at Moncton High School from 1996 to 2000.
