Joseph Ashton

Joseph Ashton is a multifaceted professional with diverse experience spanning audio/visual technology, music production, and education. Currently serving as an A/V Technician at INSPIRE, Joseph manages the setup and operation of equipment for events at the Morgantown Marriott event center. As CEO and founder of Mash Alt Records, Joseph leads an indie label focused on alternative and progressive music. Joseph also contributes as a Theater Technician for the City of Morgantown, specializing in stage design, sound, and lighting. Additionally, Joseph operates as a content creator on YouTube and Twitch. With a background in education as an Engineering Tutor at West Virginia University and previous experience in research and customer service, Joseph holds a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with a focus on computer science, engineering, and music.
