Kristin Brown

Kristin Brown is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in public relations and event management. Currently serving as the Communications Coordinator for the City of Oregon City since January 2018, Kristin has successfully built partnerships with local nonprofits and facilitated community engagement, particularly for underserved populations. Previously, Kristin held the position of Marketing and Communications Manager for the City of Round Rock, where effective communication and staff supervision were key responsibilities. As the Director of Lifestyle and Events at Sun City Texas, Kristin organized over 200 events annually for a community of over 10,000 residents, while also managing budgets and volunteer teams. Earlier experience includes directing meetings and conferences for TIADA. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University and additional education in Journalism and Public Relations.
