Ken Busse

Ken Busse has over 30 years of experience in various roles related to economic development and planning. Ken currently serves as the Director of Economic & Community Development and Planning & Zoning at the City of Palos Heights since September 2016. Prior to this, Ken was the President of Busse Consulting, Inc. starting from February 2002. Ken founded the company which specializes in economic development, real estate finance, and municipal financial assistance. From February 1997 to January 2002, Ken worked as the Manager of Finance & Economic Development at RMCA. Ken started their career as a Principal Associate at TPAP in 1985 and worked there for over a decade.

Ken Busse's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning and Economic Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they obtained from 1981 to 1983. Ken then pursued a Master's degree in Urban Planning and Real Estate/Public Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, completing it from 1983 to 1985.
