Kate Daugherty has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Kate is currently serving as the Director of the Community Resource Corps for the City of Philadelphia, where they oversee the program's execution and strategic vision. Prior to this, they were a Senior Fellow for Health Equity in the Atlantic Fellows program at Oxford University. Kate has also held leadership positions at Hopeworks Camden, where they managed and trained the Hopeworks Training Team and coordinated community-wide collaborations focused on trauma-informed practices. Kate has prior experience as a Store Manager at Kobos Coffee, a Research Assistant at Georgetown University, a Barista at Ink! Coffee and Grind Coffee House, and held mentoring and administrative roles at Franklin College Switzerland. Kate also worked as a Community Canvasser for the Rape Assistance and Awareness Program.

Kate Daugherty obtained a high school diploma from Smoky Hill High School in 2009. Kate then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies at Franklin College Switzerland from 2009 to 2012. Later, they completed a Master of Arts degree in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University between 2013 and 2015.
