Sheila White

Sheila White, CPA, serves as the Director of Finance for the City of Richmond, Virginia, since June 2020, after previously holding the position of Finance Deputy Director Senior. Sheila's extensive experience includes a tenure at Capital One from August 2016 to June 2020 as a Product Owner and Senior Manager of Accounting, where Sheila oversaw product execution and mortgage accounting functions. Sheila also contributed to Bell Partners Inc. as an Accounting Manager and held the role of Financial Controls and Technology Manager at the Greensboro Housing Authority. Earlier in their career, Sheila occupied various leadership positions at Lincoln Financial Group, where responsibilities included underwriting, new business administration, and customer service, alongside financial reporting, budgeting, and expense control. Sheila began their professional journey at Ernst & Young as an Auditor. Sheila holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
