Valerie Francois has a diverse work experience in human resources. Valerie started their career as an HR Specialist IV at Texas Attorney General in 1991 and held the position until 1999. After that, they joined the City of Austin, where they had various roles, including HR Consultant, HR Manager, Division Manager - Human Resources, and Quality Assurance Manager. In 2012, Valerie became the Human Resources Director at the City of Round Rock, where they currently work.
Valerie Francois obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University in the period between 1986 and 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Texas State University from 2000 to 2004.
