Katie Dettmer

Katie Dettmer, MHRM, currently serves as a Senior Human Resources Generalist for the City of St. Charles, MO, since May 2023, following a role as a Human Resources Generalist. Prior experience includes positions at Island Health as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Coordinator from July 2021 to August 2022, and a lengthy tenure with the US Navy from June 2013 to July 2021, where Katie held roles including Talent Acquisition Specialist and Aviation Ordnance Technical Team Leader on the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). Katie Dettmer holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from The University of Arizona Global Campus, completed in February 2023, and a degree in Psychology from the same institution, earned in November 2020. Additional education includes Central Texas College, attended from 2014 to 2017.
