Peter Cowles

Peter Cowles has extensive experience in media systems and public safety communications. Since March 1999, Peter Cowles has served as a Media Systems Specialist and IT Communications Specialist for the City of Westfield, MA, providing direct IT support to the Police and Fire Services, managing the MITEL phone system, and addressing two-way radio issues. Previous roles include Emergency Telecommunications Dispatcher for the city, with responsibilities as the primary E911 answering point, and Studio Producer/Engineer for WSKB, producing community radio talk shows. Additionally, Peter Cowles served as Webmaster for Westfield Babe Ruth Baseball, where responsibilities included designing and producing live broadcasts for a national tournament, and as a volunteer coach for Westfield United Basketball. Early career experience involved working at WGGB-TV in various technical and creative roles. Education includes a diploma from Cathedral High School and further studies at Springfield Technical Community College.
