John P. Miller

John P. Miller has a diverse work experience in the field of law enforcement. John P. began their career as a Reserve/Per Diem Deputy Sheriff at Contra Costa County in 1991. In 1995, they joined the City of Vacaville as a Police Officer and later went on to serve as a Police Sergeant at the City of Vallejo, California from 2001 to 2010. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a part-time Instructor at Napa Valley College. John P. then became a Police Commander at the City of Pacific Grove from 2010 to 2014. Prior to their current role, they were a Police Officer at the City of Fairfield, California from 2014 to 2016. Currently, they are serving as the Chief of Police at the City of Winters since July 2016.
