Samantha Monkman

Samantha Monkman has extensive experience in operations and people management within the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Managing Director of People & Operations at City Year since September 2012. Prior roles at City Year include HR & Operations Director and Senior Operations Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, where over 150 volunteers were organized to impact 2,000 students, and as an Operations Consultant for The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems. Samantha's background also includes significant contributions to TeenAIDS-PeerCorps and local alumni recruitment efforts for Dartmouth College. Samantha holds a B.A. in Geography and French from Dartmouth College and has pursued additional education at UCLA.
