Dominique Burgunder-Johnson has a diverse range of work experience. Currently, they serve as the Director of CX Design at Plural, where they oversee all aspects of the customer experience and journey, develop and manage the Voice of the Customer program, and create tools and measures to manage the customer experience. Prior to this role, Dominique held positions at Goshen College, where they served as Vice President for Marketing & Enrollment and Director of Marketing. In these roles, they led the development and execution of marketing strategies, built relationships with various departments, and oversaw admissions, financial aid, and marketing operations. They also worked as the Director of Digital Innovation at Sierra Club, leading the development and execution of new digital strategies. Earlier in their career, Dominique held positions at National Wildlife Federation, EARTHWORKS, Global Exchange, Mennonite Mission Network, Military Counseling Network, Good News Theological Seminary, and Military Community Youth Ministries, where they gained experience in online campaign strategy, advocacy, communications, and youth ministry.

Dominique Burgunder-Johnson holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Eastern Mennonite University, which was obtained between 2014 and 2016. Before that, from 2003 to 2006, Dominique earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History / Peace, Justice & Conflict Studies from Goshen College. Additionally, in 2007, Dominique attended Central State University where they studied Marketing & Communications. Dominique also has several additional certifications, including being a 2042 Conservation Leaders Fellow from the Center for Whole Communities, completing the Damascus Road Anti-Racism Training from the Mennonite Central Committee, and participating in Diversity Leadership Training from the National Coalition Building Institute, Diversity Matters Training from Diversity Matters, Foundations of Sociocracy from The Sociocracy Consulting Group, Innovation Engineering Green Belt from Eureka!
