Camelia Gehrke

Camelia Gehrke has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Camelia currently holds the role of Vice President of Corporate Development at CJ Affiliate since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Group Director and then a Group Director in the Client Development department at the same company from 2017 to 2019. Camelia also worked as a Client Development Director at CJ Affiliate from 2015 to 2017.

In 2019, they worked as a Senior Mentor at COOP, a nonprofit organization focused on helping underemployed individuals through digital skills and peer connections.

Before that, Camelia was an Account Director at Acxiom from 2013 to 2014, where they were responsible for managing relationships with key clients and implementing omni-channel marketing solutions. Camelia was recognized for achieving significant revenue growth and for pioneering email marketing solutions.

In 2012, Camelia worked as a Consultant in Digital Marketing, Email, Branding, and Analytics at AIG, where they oversaw the company's email marketing program and launched the new AIG brand. Camelia also founded Hazten Inc., a marketing consultancy, during the same period.

Earlier in their career, Camelia was an Account Manager at Experian CheetahMail, where they managed all aspects of email marketing campaigns and continuous programs. Camelia also had marketing and legal aid roles at a law firm from 2008 to 2010.

In 2008, Camelia started their career as a Project Coordinator Intern at the United Nations, where they worked on various initiatives and collaborated with celebrities on high-budget projects. Camelia also assisted in organizing events and contributed to the UN Works Programme website.

Throughout their career, Camelia has demonstrated expertise in client development, strategic leadership, marketing effectiveness, and digital skills.

Camelia Gehrke attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Higher Mathematics. Prior to that, they pursued Continued Education in Java Programming at New York University from 2009 to 2010. Camelia completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Journalism and Minor in Business Administration at the University of Arizona from 2004 to 2007.
