Seif Yusuf

Seif Yusuf is a Group Leader and Scientist at Clariant since December 2019, where responsibilities include leading the development of solid phosphoric acid catalysts and collaborating with manufacturing plants to optimize production processes. Prior to this role, Seif served as a Senior Research Engineer, developing testing protocols for catalyst activity and stability while providing technical support to customers. Seif's academic background includes a PhD from North Carolina State University, where research focused on catalysts for oxidative dehydrogenation, coupled with multiple published works and conference presentations. Additional experience includes positions as a QC Analyst and Manufacturing Technology Associate at MedImmune/AstraZeneca and the University of Delaware, respectively, as well as an Undergraduate Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University. With a strong foundation in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Delaware, Seif has developed expertise in catalyst synthesis and characterization throughout a diverse career in academia and industry.
