Yuchen Fama

Yuchen Fama has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, Yuchen worked at Travelers as a Research Consultant, where they collaborated with IT to design data pipelines and analyzed telematics data. They then became a Sr. Research Consultant, building models for direct mail response and customer channel preference. Yuchen later joined HSB - A Munich Re Company in 2014 as the Director of Data Science, where they led the development of machine learning and AI capabilities and established a high-performance data science team. In 2020, Yuchen served as a Data Science and Technology Advisor at Munich Re (Group), providing strategic advice on technology and leading research on AI applications. They also became an Elected Council Member at the New England Statistical Society, a non-profit research organization. Currently, Yuchen holds the position of VP of Product at Clarifai, where they oversee product development and were previously the Director of AI Product.

Yuchen Fama completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from 2001 to 2005. Following that, Yuchen pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics at the University of Connecticut from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Yuchen Fama obtained several certifications in recent years, including "AWS Essential Training for Architects" and "OpenCV for Python Developers" from LinkedIn in October 2020, as well as "Product Management: Building a Product Strategy" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
