Cédric Souverain

Cédric Souverain has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being as a Lead MLOps Engineer at Groupe Clarins since January 2023. In this role, they are responsible for managing the Clarins Data Lake, migrating it to the Cloud, and creating data collection pipelines. Cédric has also built an MLOps architecture from scratch and developed machine learning models for cross-selling and interpurchase time predictions. Prior to this, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Groupe Clarins from October 2019 to December 2023, where they built and evaluated recommendation engines and deployed them to multiple e-commerce countries.

Aside from their role at Groupe Clarins, Cédric was also the CTO & Co-Founder of Agorare since January 2021. Cédric played a key role in building a mobile app, project management, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, they have held positions such as a Data Engineer Intern at Groupe Clarins, a Research Intern at Ecole internationale des Sciences du Traitement de l'Information, a Mathematics Teacher at Superprof, and Vice President/Quality Manager and Project Manager at Cap'EISTI. Furthermore, they gained software engineering experience as an intern at OENOPTIMO and DEF Belgium. Cédric also completed an internship at ReadSoft where they gained exposure to various roles in the Professional Services Department of a Software Editor.

Cédric Souverain has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from CY Cergy Paris Université, which they obtained in 2017. From 2018 to 2019, they pursued a master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, MADOCS at CY Cergy Paris Université, while simultaneously completing an engineer's degree in Informatique at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Additionally, from 2014 to 2019, Cédric attended CY Tech and earned an engineer's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Embedded Systems.
