Joshua Cox has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Cashier at Walmart where they handled customer care, scanning, processing and handling money at the register, including the sales of firearms and ammo in the sporting goods department. In 2006, they joined the US Navy as an Assistant Manager and Correspondence Writer (2nd Class Petty Officer) where they instructed a team of petty officers in the collecting and imput of meteorological data, and created and edited documents for military personnel. In 2011, they became a student at The Art Institutes and produced a complete portfolio of work ranging from Font design and Illustrations to complete marketing proposals and marketable design pieces (packaging and displays). In 2014, they worked as a Graphic Designer at The Campus Copy Shop and The UPS Store. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Media Specialist at MenuWorks and PermaCard, and handled all forms of media systems from web content and maintenance to IP Phone systems and product design. Joshua also handled SEO, visibility and social media on the web, and maintained voicemail, email and marketing software. In 2019, they joined Clarip as Director of Operations and Marketing, and Graphic Designer and Marketing Analyst. In this role, they worked with Clarip's patented technology to bring "Data-Risk-Intelligence" to help stop PII data leaks, visualize data flows, manage vendor risks, automate data mapping and fulfill DSAR requests. Joshua also helped manage consent for millions across multiple channels including IoT devices.
Joshua Cox holds a Bachelor of Graphic Design from The Art Institutes, an Associate of Arts (AA) from Trident Technical College, and a High School Diploma from Edisto High School. Joshua studied Illustration for their Bachelor's degree, and Graphic Design for their Associate's degree.
