Alex MacLaverty

Alex MacLaverty began their career as an events manager at Zenith Corporate Communications in 2000. Alex then worked as a senior account manager at hbl media ltd from 2001 to 2004. MacLaverty joined Hotwire in 2004 and held various roles, including account manager, UK Managing Director, Group Managing Director for EMEA & ANZ, and global Board member, as well as COO and President EMEA & ANZ. Alex received several awards for their work at Hotwire and was recognized as an industry expert, speaking at events and serving as a judge for industry awards. In 2019, MacLaverty became the Global Chief Operating Officer at Clarity PR.

Alex MacLaverty attended the University of Cambridge from 1996 to 1999. They received a BA (Hons) and an MA (Cantab) degree in Social and Political Sciences. Additionally, they had an educational experience at LEH, although specific details about their degree and field of study are unknown.
